Compassionate InquiryTM is a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that helps to identify our core wounds and recognise how those wounds drive our addictions or emotional responses.
Using the Compassionate Inquiry approach, we can begin to become aware of the unconscious dynamics that can take over or hijack us. Through awareness and understanding, we are able to liberate ourselves from these core wounds and patterns.
In 2022, I completed the year-long Compassionate Inquiry for Professionals course with Dr Gabor Maté. This training has been fundamental in working with people helping them to understand their behaviours but also cultivating strategies for self compassion and healing.
Who this is for
This is not just for people in addiction but also for people who want to understand what drives certain behaviours. Compassionate Inquiry aims to teach clients to self-soothe, self-regulate, have empathy and deeper understanding of themselves.

Sick of feeling controlled by alcohol?
I've been there, and I think the best support is knowing you're not alone. On my podcast we talk to ex-binge drinkers, alcoholics, drug and alcohol counsellors and more about how they quit alcohol.
